1- When is Indy Open? Does it take long to hear back?
Indy is open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.  Indy does not close.  If sleep has taken Indy, that is the only time you would not hear back immediately.  You will be contacted with a reply as soon as possible.  When starting Indy Editions that was uber important.  You will not wait for a response and most times within minutes of contact. 
Indy operates the majority of the sales on Facebook.  Indy Editions has over 20 book sites that are used as selling platforms.  Some books will be listed here from time to time and typically the higher end ones which is part of Indy’s specialty.  There are many sellers out there but few deal on a regular basis with the volume of the upper end collectables like Indy Editions does.   
Indy’s name was born of being called “the Indiana Jones ” of finding treasures for people.  The business built on that very model.  If there is anything you are after in the Stephen King world or Fine Press world, Indy will likely be able to acquire this for you.  In fact, Indy tracks this success rate and as of this writing is at 78%.  Simply use the contact page to send in what you are looking for and you will be notified when and if that item can be found.  There is no cost for this and no obligation!  It’s a service that Indy offers to further set itself apart! 

Indy has operated for nearly seven years BUT has been selling in the market since 2012 before becoming an official incorporated company in 2019!  

Indy Editions started out selling Stephen King books but quickly found a passion for the artwork that goes along with the books.  Then promo goods also picked up steam and in 2017 with the release of Suntup’s special editions of Misery Fine Press became part of the equation.  Today Indy produces high end, highly limited Fine Press Stephen King books.  Indy not only brokers but buys full collections and also offers signature verification on Indy letterhead, appraisals too!  Indy also can act as a go-between to help two parties come to an agreement for a very small fee to ensure both parties are protected.  Indy will also gladly give advice on anything to help your collection grow for free.  Why? Cause the heart of Indy is a true blue born and bread collector.  

Indy packs books bomb proof.  There is nothing worse than a collector getting a book and its damaged from the shipping carrier!  Indy Editions over packs to ensure this doesn’t happen.  Indy also uses and recycles boxes and packing materials from companies in the shopping district they are located in.  Packing is as important as the sale itself.  As for insurance, Indy can insure most books even when it’s brokered and a 3rd party direct ship.  Indy covers all books/artwork etc when shipped from the office directly. The 3rd party policy, while expensive, is a must as Indy will NEVER let anyone hang and be out of pocket.  Protecting the good folks that trust Indy Editions top notch service is paramount and part of the reason for the success of this little book shop.  There is not a single instance where Indy will complete a sale and all parties are not happy. It’s just not in the cards for Indy Editions. 

Short answer. YES.  Indy will come to you.  Sometimes it’s tough to sell a large collection.  Having to deal with it all can be daunting.  Indy’s mission is to make that as easy as possible and if coming to you is important then it is something that can be done.  Options are great and many will be offered so the direction  you take in selling is the best one for you.  Indy also offers reduced commission rates for larger collections and it’s worth hearing what they are. 
The payment plans offered are the best in the business.  For the buyer and seller.  First thing to note is that there is ZERO charge to the buyer or seller for this service. Indy takes this on 100%.  The payment terms are negotiable with a deposit secured to confirm the deal .  Item is held with Indy until paid in full.  The beauty of this process for the seller? They are paid in full right away thus not having to wait for their money at all!  Indy takes this process on to help both parties involved in the transaction! 

Indy offers Paypal, WISE, cash, check, direct bank wire/transfer and Email Money Transfer (in Canada only).  Indy also offers sellers these same options that I broker for.  

Indy backs and guarantees every sale. This means, should something go amiss in the pre-order stage for any reason? You will be refunded in full and the shipping you paid. Indy ensures that there is NO RISK to buying anything whether its a pre-order or something in hand.  

There is a simple answer to this.  YOU WILL BE.  Indy will make sure of it.  If it’s damaged or not what you expected, simply reach out to Indy Editions and they will work with you on either a return, refund or gift certificate for a future purchase.  Indy will not mark the sale completed until the buyer is 100% HAPPY.  That is all that matters at the end of the day.  Period.

YES!  Indy’s location is in Halifax, Nova Scotia and gets many visitors a year.  Indy is located at 1-A Oland Crescent and is in fact in Canada!  There is lots however to see, purchase and enjoy.  The stories are endless and the company is great.  Indy encourages visitors and has an open door policy!
